Apostolos Paraskevas (Professor, Composition Department at Berklee College of Music) was awarded a Gold Level Award at the 2010 California Film Awards last Saturday for his film I Finally Did It! Last November the film also received a Silver Screen Award in the 2010 Nevada Film Festival.

Dr. Paraskevas, who co-directed the film with filmmaker-director Mathew Tucciarone, both authored the script and composed the score for this peculiar tale of friendship and artistic creativity. I Finally Did It! is a feature-length documentary that explores the power of friendship, music, and death via a most unusual, yet sympathetic character. The film features a soundtrack of Paraskevas' original music as performed by legendary conductors and world-renowned musicians.
